Welcome to Kimberley, a unique, four season resort with first class amenities

2009 Bootleg Sled Dog Races

Kimberley has  beautiful natural attractions and over 100 kilometres of multi-use trails from which to access and enjoy them.  At 1977 acres, our nature park is one of the largest municipal parks in Canada. A stroll through the picturesque pedestrian-only Platzl shopping area brings you to delightful boutiques and restaurants.  In the southernmost area of town is Marysville with its own unique mainstreet shops and restaurants.  Kimberley also hosts a variety of festivals including Julyfest, Arts on the Edge, The Kimberley International Old Time Accordion Championships and the Bootleg Sled Dog Races, to name a few.

This is a friendly community with a strong sense of community pride.  Our residents have chosen Kimberley for the quality of life and our goal is to sustain and enhance our present lifestyle through planned and controlled community development.  Our three golf courses, ski resort and real estate developments have contributed to Kimberley's prosperity. A new Aquatic Centre and the athlete training facility and conference centre that is slated to open in late 2010 are testaments to the City's commitment to growth.
